Fortunati Dal Dosso Duo

Fortunati Dal Dosso Duo (mezzo-soprano and piano) was established in 2004 from the happy encounter of the two artists. With a varied repertoire ranging from the baroque music to the Musical, opera and oratorio, italian and french songs, german lied it performed in prestigious concert halls.

Elisa Fortunati, is brilliantly graduate in singing and philosophy with a degree thesis on the Compendium Musicae of Descartes. After Bernstein's debut in Candide, she collaborated with various theaters in Italy and abroad performing works by Cimarosa, Donizetti, Puccini, Mascagni, Verdi, Bizet, Rossini and Britten. She sang the first performances of Antinesca o la farina nel sacco by Giulia D' Andrea and La regina delle nevi by Pierangelo Valtinoni. She was at the Florence Opera House for Die Frau ohne Schatten (2010) and Der Rosenkavalier (2012) by R. Strauss both conducted by Zubin Mehta. She also performs in the vocal chamber and sacred repertoire.
